Bungie just announced some exciting new information about the future of Destiny. Every time they showcase these vidocs, my enthusiasm for the game soars and I’m hyped into continuing my journey as a guardian in the world of Destiny. Here’s the most recent vidoc:

We’re finally seeing what Bungie has in store for us, now that they’re in control of their own “Destiny”. Besides returning to the moon in the newest expansion, Bungie is finally removing the friction for new and old players of the game to join their friends or to return to the game for the first time in a long time.

Players from any system (including PlayStation – because Sony always seems to be hesitant with this sort of stuff) can now easily transfer their progress, thanks to cross save. This means there’s no obstacles from preventing your friends joining you or you joining your friends from any platform. For new comers, they won’t need to do anything to acquire the entire content for year one of Destiny 2. It’s all free. This is good news for new and returning players.

This is all exciting news for the Destiny community and I am eager to take on new adventures with our Guardians.
