Is it worth spending nearly 300 dollars on a figure? If you’re talking about the Hot Toys Spider-Man Advanced Suit from the recent PS4 video game, then Perdana says, “Hell yes!”

For people unfamiliar with the Hot Toys brand, they’re responsible for creating highly lifelike articulated one sixth scale figures from popular movies and video-games. They usually range in the 200 plus dollar range. If you’re a collector that likes to fiddle around with poses, or just likes a little more interaction with their collectibles, then these figures are perfect for you.

Today we’re talking about the Spider-Man Advanced Suit. It’s an excellent piece and one of the best, if not the best available Spider-Man figure from Hot Toys currently available for order.

The figure is 100% accurate to the video game. Hot Toys has done an excellent job in capturing the subtle hints of carefully defined muscle definition underneath the suit. You can see this very clearly on the chest, shoulders, and the thighs.

One thing to note that’s different from all the other Spider-Man figures that Hot Toys has done in the past, is this is the very first Spider-Man figure that has a full plastic head. The other figures in the past have all been wrapped in cloth. This helps the figure have a sense of consistency and faithfulness that the other Spider-Man figures didn’t have. Normally with the other Spider-Man figures, the figure is completely wrapped in cloth except for the hands. The hands are usually sculpted and fully plastic to simulate the same texture as the cloth. Depending on the lighting the color of the plastic usually isn’t always consistent with the fabric. It’s usually good enough. However with this figure, all the materials throughout are mostly consistent making the figure very true to the way it was portrayed in the video game.

The figure is still available for order, so get yours now before they’re all gone and selling in the aftermarket for a lot more!
